“Our guide, Martin, had vast knowledge and ability to transmit information in a very interesting and clear way. His ability to maintain solemnity and balance in a hard site to visit, Majdanek Concentration Camp, was impressive and much appreciated. We enjoyed learning history about Poland and Europe, past and present. Truly an extraordinary tour.”

“It was a long day. Felt bad for our driver. But the tour in Auswitz was very good and needed to be heard. Then the trip to Krakow old town was very good. Wish we had a bit more time in Krakow. The day was so long at the camps and without a real rest for a meal, that when we arrived at Krakow, we just wanted to sit and eat something. Nevertheless, found a nice little restaurant and ate dinner (not in the main square) and then enjoyed the walk.”

“The rating on this is primarily due to the guide that we had. He was a very nice man and was obviously pasionate about everything we saw. The first issue was that he was very difficult to understand. His English was halting and not very good. Second was his driving. It seemed like he had not driving a stick shift before. It was very jerky and scary at times. Third we felt uncomfortable at one of the sights when he skipped the line but then had a five minute argument with the people at the counter trying to get tickets for us. I would have thought that would have all…”
