“I was surprised to learn that booking the experience does not guarantee your visit, which is not the tour company’s fault. Auschwitz released a limited number of English speaking guides per day and you are also competing for a spot against others visiting the museum/memorial. I booked the tour over a month prior to my visit date. 3-4 days before, I got a message from Agnieszka asking me to switch days to accommodate the tour. “This is a lot for one day, but if time is short like mine was, the tour is well worth it. My guide Anna was wonderful and since there was a lot of drive time we passed the time in interesting conversation. Anna is very knowledgeable regarding Jewish History in Poland - while at Treblinka she was sensitive and empathetic with regards to the dark and sad history of Jewish people during the Holocaust.
